In cooperation with the FH Jülich, we offer apprenticeships for mathematical-technical software developers (MATSE) as of August 1 each year. In our development departments, you will work together with committed colleagues on future-oriented system solutions for the international automotive industry, intelligent scheduling solutions for the ready-mix concrete industry and efficient control systems for aircraft refuelling

Your Tasks

  • In the practical part of the training you will get to know our different areas of operation and work alongside experienced software developers on interesting projects for customers all over the world.
  • You will gain an insight into the diversity of automotive electronics in its entire range - from low-budget small cars and the everyday middle class to luxury cars and electric sports cars - into the logistical challenges of the building materials industry and the operating processes of a modern major airport.
  • The practical training is supplemented by the bachelor's degree course in "Scientific Programming" at Aachen University of Applied Sciences, Jülich site. The study courses take place in the computer centre of the RWTH Aachen University.

Your Profile

  • General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), entrance qualification for studies at universities of applied sciences.
  • Good mathematical knowledge.
  • High interest in technology.
  • Ability to think and work systematically.
  • Good skills in written and spoken English.
